Warning over South African car factories

South Africa’s proposed electric vehicle (EV) policy is a step in the right direction for the country’s automotive sector but, if not implemented effectively, could put thousands of jobs at risk.

This is according to the National Association of Automotive Component and Allied Manufacturers CEO Renai Moothilal.

So government publishes a decent paper pushing for the manufacturing of EV's in SA with significant tax incentives, and here is Daily Disinvestor to piss on everyone's parade with more clickbait BS.

“If you just look at, for example, auto component exports, the catalytic converter sector has been a dominant subsector for many years and without internal combustion engines, that category starts losing its attractiveness,” he said.

People are far too obsessed with the EV's and "green technologies" that they fail to see the low hanging fruit.

We should be continuing with manufacturing Catalytic converters en-mass, demand from the USA will keep us afloat for the next coming 100 years.

Moothilal explained that, for a long time, South Africa’s auto sector has been anchored on internal combustion engines
complete and utter kak, the local automotive manufacturing sector is anchored on APDP, take that away and it implodes like the house of cards it is

the type of engines make no difference whatsoever, make the citizens pay more for cars in order to "provide" jobs, it is as simple as that

the government are a bunch of utter n@@i's - how can there be EV's in a cuntry that has no electricity to charge the things

Stick to making stuff we need and that will sell.

"South Africa intends to build electric vehicles using some of the $8.8 billion of climate funding provided by some of the world’s wealthiest nations." code for we'll be building electric tricycles for use as ambulances and they'll cost R8M each and we'll be building 1000 of them. The profita made will then go to the politically connected and make it's way to Lootholi house where it would be used to fund the anc

If only we could block the bot. Always click bait BS.

The warning bells are going off at every front but the low IQ degenerate cANCer are to busy dreaming about their latest luxobarge SUV's, KFC and shiny suits.
