As we all know, Tigerbrands has a price fixing cloud over them. Nestle has increased their products 3 times last year and next week they are to increase it again by 12%. I am a shop owner and know prices. From now on I am not going to sell any Tigerbrand products.
When the oil price shot up they increased their prices and now when it is back to normal they are increasing prices again.
Don't buy these:
Choc Log
Bar One
Aero
Nestle Coffee
Cadbury and Beacon are R1.00 cheaper on all their same size chocolates.

just because the shop owner doesn't like what they are doing, doesn't mean he's shop should stop selling aero's and bar ones.

people buy what they like, R1 more or not...

you are boycotting tiger and nestle - fine, but people might boycott your shop seeing as you don't have what stuff they prefer...people like to make up their own minds you know.

EDIT: tiger brands and Nestle make a sh1tload of stuff - good luck with your shop

its about time we got something back from these crooks. all they do it inflate prices make millions then get busted and pay a fine. we still pay the high price and to make up the fines money they put up their prices again thereby giving us another one up the @#%* and so the wheel turns.

you go marco.

the Competition Commission should insist that all companies involved with price fixing have all the products marked with a recommended retail price sticker until such time as they see fit and we the customer has got something back from these crooks.

Ok No more Aero for the Mrs and no Energade for me - I'll stick to Powerade then.

And to Marco, as a shop owner, it has to be applauded that he would at least recognize these increases and want to make an effort to not have to screw himself and his clients over.

Good on ya!
