Not seeing it with my S23 ultra, wife isn't seeing it with her S23FE, perhaps the non S series?

Yes, running a A33, and I see @RedViking is also having performance issues with his A25. From what I can see it's using the same chipset.

Mine not that bad, but with every update it do feel slower. I know there is suppose to be another major update soon to OneUI 7. So not holding my breath for that one.

Yup looks like they do, probably the issue is that SoC

its not an update to One UI7 (like a patch) - its a complete update to One UI8.0 and Android 16 - you have to check if your phone is eligible for it

check this list and it seems like A33 is on it ...... don't worry its not a huge major update - its mostly refining One UI7 with a few changes so i doubt it will get much slower than it is now

I'm putting a redmi note 14 pro sticker on my Samsung A25 and giving it to the wife.

My wife started complaining that her Redmi Note 10 Pro is sometimes slow.
It's because she has so many apps and her notifications are always full of messages.
I got hers for R8500, and it has a better processor, and if she is happy, then it's worth the extra cash.

I manage my phone so I don't have the slowness issue, and I'm still very happy with my Redmi Note 10 Pro.
I will probably get a new phone when they come out with replaceable batteries again in 2027.

I see the usual suspects have already been here.

Congrats on your new phone OP, may it serve you well.

I used to be firmly in the Xiaomi camp for a long while (Redmi Note 2, 4, 5, 8) and migrated to an Apple iPhone 11 Pro. It's six years old at this point but it still runs pretty well. I don't have nearly enough time to fiddle anymore though so the iPhone is fine for now. I'll probably upgrade again once my usual apps aren't supported anymore.

Just received my Honor 400 Pro. So far its a phone and it works. Reviews seem promising. Will see how it goes. But i use my phone mostly for basics. Nothing special
