I have sent off three emails to Madelyn Smith, and she did not even have the courtesy to return my email. Sent one off to every person on the IPwireless site, again no response. So good luck.

I suppose Fastcomm doesn't represent SENTECH so he would not know that MYWIRELESS 512 does not refer to a 512kb/s connection..... as they have claimed in the press release

The rocket scientists continue on.... maybe they should all get around a table and do some planning on what to say...... or continue as they have in the past and just shut up!!!!

I actually feel for all the people that are actually working their butts off to sort this out and when the company releases crappy statements, they must cringe every single time.... To you guys @ SENTECH please dont give up on trying to fix the problem.....you are our only hope left!!!!!

Wow. Im impressed. He typed that whole response. Gotta be a forumite :p I mean he did not lie or copy-and-paste once. You know what that means.. his job will be on the line ala ProAsm. David vs Goliath once again. Has SA learned nothing from Telkom?

As I understand it, 2Mbps is the practical maximum with sig strength &lt; 50%. I seriously doubt my modem will ever carry data at those rates in its lifetime in this country.

Josandre, as Charl Barnard has actually made the effort to respond to your request, I feel it is unfair to place his email address on a public forum and have thus removed it. Could you rather maintain your good rapport with him and post the results here? If a large number of people start emailing him, he will respond less and less and may resort to the copy-and-paste routine.

If anyone objects to this please let me know. I think this guy (CB) deserves some respect. We can dish out negative comments but we must give appreciation where it is due.

Charl is not a free agent and are under strict contract with Sentech, I've dealt with him before and he's been very helpful (if all you remember I had troubles with my modem being flashed with the incorrect version which he helped me out with)

Further than that you'll get a "Sentech doesn't authorize me to divulge such information" wall you'd usually get. Actually, Charl doesn't even work directly for Fastcomm...

Help save the bandwidth. Decent download speeds for TheRodent! Stop downloading now!!!

The editing on this thread has just confused the crap out of me. Everyone knows that a comment by Charl Barnard was posted here. Could we at least have the salient details in the edited post, sans his details? Alternatively rather delete the post in it's entirety. This forum is about freely exchanging information between us. Sentech's feelings are NOT at stake here.

join the club man, I had to scroll up and down thinking I've missed something [:p]. Just to add a comment, to those of you who are hoping that sentech resolve the problems, good luck. Cuz even if they do and speed go up I can never do business in good faith with them again. I've sent my 2nd cancellation letter since they still feel the need to think the problem is on my side.

I only removed the email address. It appears as if Josandre has withdrawn all his posts completely. Perhaps he misunderstood or something? Lets give him some time to respond otherwise we can delete the last few posts to avoid any confusion..
