Time when cap takes effect?

Hi guys,

It seems that it used to be the case that your usage was checked around midnight and you were then capped or not at that time as part of some batch-type process.

Does anyone know whether this is still the case as I am sitting on 2.95GB this morning and I want to know whether I can give it a caning today or whether I should try and ration myself

the proccess in operation when i was at telskum was as follows ...

1)saix sends telkom a "baddies" list this list gets processed and your radius provile modified so next time you log in you will be capped this was in the process of been automated when i left.
2)you have a session timeout of 24 hours so you will be kicked off and have to log back in

if you start your final session <3G you can wind it as you will not get capped if you stay online ...

also remember that the usage tracker and the RAS will disagree on the actual usage and it is not 100% accurate at all times ...
