Good morning guys

Which firewall allows you to have timed access control for HTTPS and HTTP websites?

Reason why - I want to block Youtube during the day, but only allow it during certain times of the day (such as when midnight data is running etc).

Open Source solutions will be a big plus, but if there's commercialized hardware/software, then I'll take a look at that as well.

Regards

Most decent firewalls allow this, Checkpoint, Fortigate, Cisco.

I would rather look at a squid proxy though (open source) , this is where you should be controlling access from. Allows you to set time based policies, you can get decent usage reports and the bonus of cached content.

Commercial offerings are not that expensive now days, especially the smaller devices, you can look at the meraki or fortinet options
