Does it have other noise options. Blue Noise and Brown Noise seems to work the best for my tinnitus at the moment.
there’s a few others on Amazon doing brown noise and pink noise etc . Not sure about blue
Was finally the day for my ENT follow up phone call last week. Appointment was at 08:30, so decided to have a quick piss at 08:27. Just as I start, the phone rings twice and they put down before I can answer. I tried calling back, but get an automated message that they only open their lines at 09:00.
Phone at 09:00, and they ask why I didn’t answer my phone. Explain I was in the bathroom and my phone rang twice BEFORE my appointment time, so I couldn’t answer. They say it counts as a missed appointment and I’ll be referred back to my GP. I get a bit vexed and tell them I need to know the results of my MRI.
A couple days later, I get a letter in the mail to my GP I’m copied in on, referring me back. Says the MRI didn’t find anything bad and that I shouldn’t be concerned. Despite, you know, being 15dB deafer in my left ear with a constant ringing…

Yeah the scans wont pick this up. Only the loss of hearing can be tested. Just make your peace with it
The scans are usually to pick up things like acoustic neuromas and/or calcification of some of the bones in the ear, that can cause tinnitus and typically hearing loss. These are generally treatable, but are unfortunately not the major cause of hearing loss and/or tinnitus.Yeah the scans wont pick this up. Only the loss of hearing can be tested. I am not sure what you mean by "running". But every person the noise is different. 24 hours, yes. Ambient noise can drain it out, but it can get worse so it is louder than the surrounding ambient/room sounds. To understand this condition more; do you guys hear running, constantly 24/7?

Mine could be absent sometimes and 'in your face' sometimes. Mine was silent when I got up around 04h00 today. Now, it 'runs' at 60% volume. It varies. I may be one of the 'lucky' people who can live with it. Some people seem to be driven to madness by the constant ringing. To understand this condition more; do you guys hear running, constantly 24/7?
Just buy a cheap Chinese charger that will emit a high pitch sound constantly. Or watch the Blackberry movie. To understand this condition more; do you guys hear running, constantly 24/7?
So it ended up my brain just needed a bit of re-wiring.
I played a sequence of red > blue and then finally white noise. 10 minutes each. That got rid of the cicadas in my ears. What a relief!
Just the high pitch tinnitus that is still there and audible, but probably some infection or sinus block or something somewhere. I can live with it though.

What do you mean?
I generally think it's 24/7 but you just become aware of it in specific environment or the quiet hours for a lack of other noise.
I have sometimes this weird thing where it's almost like the ringing from a gunshot if you didn't wear protection that high pitched "zing" which suddenly comes out of nowhere and blanks my one ear instantly and then slowly dissipates again.
Not sure what you mean by "running" but mine is like high pitched static in both ears.
I can also hear my blood flowing around/heatbeat my ear in my sleep. It sounds very similar to the sound an Ultrasound machine would make.
