Tips to Boost your eBucks - 1 August 2023 to 31 July 2024

Slightly off topic, but any suggestions for rewards systems to use for fuel purchases once ebucks cap has been reached that's worth the effort? My work situation changed recently so went from spending R1k-R2k per month on fuel to R4k+ (with PC cap being R2.5k). Sure it's been discussed before, but I usually ignored those chats as it never applied to me.

Depends on what you define as 'worth the effort'.

Quite a few private segment eBucks enthusiasts utilise a method with Woolworths Financial Services once caps with partners are done.

Not sure if already addressed, is there a restriction on number of subscriptions for Netflix where you get your Ebucks back? I want to start paying for mine and my parents is Netflix off my VC, will I get 40% back on both. Been getting the 'not part of same household' error, hence had to get them their own subscription

If I recall, the netflix relates to spouses account, on the same pricing engine!

Example, for premier, there are 3 levels.

Phoned them and they said there was a technical glitch. It should be fixed, the latest, by the next ebucks run which is June. Maybe before.

I see this thread for 2023 was started in May - do hope someone will start the new thread for 2024 again...and please do summarize all important changes. You know I depend on this forum for eBucks info.

Just to clarify. eBucks rules stay unchanged from August to July each year. Used to be from July to June.

So this thread is current (updated) until the new rules come out in June/July and we then prepare for Aug 2024.
If the new rules are out, someone creates a new thread: "Tips to Boost your eBucks - 1 August 2024 to 31 July 2025" and this thread gets locked.

I just bought a washing machine from Takealot. Don’t really even bother looking for discounts on the app anymore.

Check last week, level 5, check today level 4, like what the actual? Apparently I didn't do some FNB partner even though I've clicked all over them like usual. Sigh this thing can really be a ball ache on how they track things. Also the home nav thing again, I went at the start of April but it didn't register, it seems you need to keep nailing it until it "registers" cause if you don't that's it for 3 months you can't do it.

With the home nav thing you just get them to email a valuation once a quarter?

That's all I do ever quarter and it gets counted and you have the email as proof.

I'm on Premier. My understanding is the Spar ebucks rewards are only applicable for Private wealth? Today I had the option to pay some Spar purchases in Ebucks through the app.

Did they change it that Premier also earn ebucks at Spar?
