Good tv. My wife bought us one at R6299 (special at the time) little more than a month ago.
Picture quality is stunning. 4K/UHD on YouTube and Netflix is great (Ethernet connection to 20MB fiber router).
Only gripes I have is Netflix keeps on disconnecting every so often and then you have to log back in.

Hopefully they dont push price up and discount it down as that is useless.

Good luck even at EBUCKS prices peak with checkers vouchers etc. This price is way too much to ask

Not sure if you did the rest of the calc but its a saving of R122... The only person this would matter for is someone who is short and it could cost the 40%

Haha no my friend you missed the peak then. 15c/16c per ebuck this was with checkers vouchers. These flew faster than hotcakes at the time.

To be honest if you say makro was the peak you missed out on a lot....

Anybody's orders not showing up in the "Track my orders" section? My ebucks have been deducted but this is making me think something went wrong...

Had the exact same issue, got errors on the last step of the checkout process, logged out of my account, logged back in, ebucks gone but hadn't received any confirmations and nothing showing under "Track my orders".

Phoned the call centre, lady confirmed that the order was not processed and they would have to refund me. Asked how long that would take, responded by saying that it would hopefully be today seeing as tomorrow is BF but it normally takes 7 days.

TV I wanted to buy not available anymore, good times.

You contradict yourself. It's a saving of R122 for anyone who requires ebucks to buy something they want on the ebucks store. Is the rate more expensive than in the past? Yes offcourse. There is a store-wide 40% sale on at the moment. Duh. Supply and demand.....

The ebucks are going fast on Carbonite today. If you want ebucks then why the heck not buy them for cheaper than the RL5 value?

They stopped Makro long before Checkers + House&Home was a thing.

The rule then was to earn at Checkers at 15%, and spend at Makro at 40% off.

I've been on RL5 for at least the past 5 years...

I don't have an issue with the fact that it is more, I used to pay up to 16c with the checkers vouchers BUT its going to be a difficult sell now... I understand 40% off on the store I'm just saying..
