Just use zapper where zapper is accepted Total for example...
He's already maxed his online though. I would also like to know this. And to know which garages in CT accept Zapper or Snapscan. I can't find a single one close to me, and I exceed the fuel cap massively every single month :crying:

Doesn't Zapper count towards online spend? I have maxed my online spend at R2,500 already. That's why I am now looking at in-store shopping
Buy a gift card then use at BP, to be honest this earn so little in ebucks its not really worth the additional effort...

You will still earn 0.5% for online spend, which is better than 0%.

Where do you get the gift card? I assume at BP? And how will you load it at a mall?

You can buy a gift card at any mall, works like a debit card with no pin. You just have to sign for it. If this counts as in-store shopping then I think this would be the way to go.

Very Interesting Article

  • First National Bank's eBucks rewards scheme offers huge discounts at Checkers and Dis-Chem, with only two limitations. One is how much eBucks you have.
  • FNB doesn't allow you to buy more eBucks with cash – but it does allow easy and free transfers between eBucks accounts.
  • That has created a pretty efficient black market for eBucks, as long as you know where to buy and sell.

Can also go to non-Engen and pay in-store. That way it will count as in-store spend.

Doesn't work at most non-Engens. I tried Sasol, went in-store, and even added a chocolate. Didn't work. I THINK it might have worked at a Shell in Stellenbosch, but I'm not 100%.

Yes you sign up online with card you purchased the ticket with. But you have to do before the stuff was stolen I guess.
You need to take out the insurance before you leave.

Aaah ok krap ...next time i know

Lucky it was just the jean and not the t shirts and other stuff

I dont ever put perfumes or any other things except clothes in the bag

Which mall have you tried. So you buying a preloaded debit card and using it at any stores?

Normally when you buy a gift card, all it is, is a debit card with no pin that you have to sign for. That's apparently how you can use it at any store in a mall. Personally, I haven't tried using it at different malls and fuel stations to buy fuel. Apparently it should work though.

It does work, got some of these as gifts a year or so ago and bought food/petrol etc with it no issue.

When I enquired at Cresta in December, they said that there is zero transaction fee if you purchase within Cresta.
Purchases outside of Cresta cost something like R18 each. (I could be wrong on the amount but I remember it being quite high)

By calling it black market they make us sound like a bunch of criminals. Or is it just me?
From the T&C:
eBUCKS ARE NOT CASH
You may not sell, issue, exchange, barter or redeem eBucks for cash. Your eBucks may only be used or spent through our spend channels listed on Our Website. You may not exchange or sell any other goods or services for eBucks.

Therefore, yes, black market.
