Hi guys, quick question. Is it true that swiping your credit card for petrol gets charged interest from the first day?
Nope, I use my CC for petrol and never incur interest. I think it's only cash withdrawals from CC that incur interest from first day

If you do not settle your credit card, then yes..

So if you fill pertrol on 1 Feb, and do not pay credit card by end March (55 days), then the interest charged will be from 1 Feb (day you filled petrol) you settle the bill

At the risk of upsetting Chuckmyster, anyone still have Wimpy vouchers available?

If you fill up and pay using ebucks do you earn ebucks on the transaction?
Will it count towards the fuel spend for the month?

Has anyone done a Spot withdrawal recently that has posted as a reversal on cc despite requesting the withdrawal to a bank account (and the app saying "withdrawal to account ending xxxx" corresponding to said bank account? I picked this up on my cc statement. There seem to be some changes underfoot there, because they've also been spamming with offers for airtime and steers.

no it does not. Interest is only charged from the first day if you swipe your petrol card
No, I used my Petro card on 3 January, this transaction appeared on my February statement and 0 interest indicated, then I paid the full amount owing end of February. I checked my March statement too and still zero interest.

How much does FNB charge in fees if I transfer R10k from my credit card into my cheque account? Is it a fixed amount or percentage of the amount?

Also, can someone sponsor me with 1x Wimpy voucher, pretty please?

It's a percentage based o your interest rate. You are charged per day this is a cash advance.

No, it's 55 days, not up to.
I've never been charged interest on my CC and I aways settle it on the 55th day.

- was under the same impression until i was randomly charged a couple hundred
and when i called they said :
