Signet card has been around for a while... invitation only and for UHNWI... ultra high net worth indiv... think you need USD1m investable assets to even be considered.

Not sure what the benefits are. Just that it exists.

Signet is reserved for ultra high net worth individuals. R150mil net asset value invested with FirstRand is around the average. Monthly account fee is around R3500 but benefits are insane. I can find out more if anyone is interested.

TBH I think a 40% discount voucher from Checkers is least of your concerns when your sitting 150 Mil up in net worth

The best I could find is from Standard Bank:

"While Standard Bank offers a Platinum card to anyone who earns over R58,000 a month, it also has an exclusive credit card in which customers are invited to participate in, similar to the American Express Centurion account.
The exclusive World and World Elite “Black” and “Metal” cards are offered to “discerning high-net-worth individuals and their families”, with the metal card offered on an invitation-only basis.
However, the details, in terms of pricing and benefits are made available to customers directly, and no further information could be publicly disclosed.

I think FNB will have something similar. It is so exclusive that pretty much only the cardholders will know about the benefits.

FNB once had a credit card called Graphite card which was by invitation only. I felt quite good when I was invited to take up the card which I obviously did. My joy was short-lived because not long after that, the account was just turned into a normal PC account. I am not even sure if this Graphite thing still exists. Needless to say, I have never been invited to take up the FNB signet card.
