Hi all, with regards to generating FNB card spend, I've given up on Virgin Money Spot. Every month there's a different issue: account verifications, money not reflecting in 2-3 business days, App not updating & installing.

Is there any way I can generate card spend? Perhaps by opening a Tyme Bank account and depositing money via Pick n Pay till into Tyme (by swiping) - can this be done? Or any other ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Maybe its time to stop gaming the system and be ethical. At 1-2% how much ebucks does this artificial spend actually generate?

I'm with immortal Souljah on this.
Then you really shouldn't be on PC.

Hope Fnb imposes better rules in June with the update and improves the rewards and voucher limits for guys that actually use the system as it was intended

How does earning ebucks with Forex work? Is it worthwhile to consider taking out forex with FNB for the ebucks benefit? Thanks

You get 50% back in ebucks on the forex fees.

If you have a global account and top it up using your cheque account you get reward level points.

There no fees with global account. I got 50% back in fees when I do swift transfer.
No fees when transferring between your global account and cheque account. Forex fees when making payments to and receiving deposits from foreign banks

Couldn't find with the help of search function.

Any way I can pay my ABSA home loan with my credit card or in a way I can earn eBucks? Or at least count towards my spend?

Does R100 'CASHBACK' count as cash@till if it was in the same transaction where I bought groceries on my credit card ?

Tbh wouldn't risk it. I know spar does this but I would sonit separate ly not worth a lost level
So if I had said I want to draw cash as a separate transaction from my credit card then that would be considered cash@till?

I have a 1500 point buffer above the 14,000 required, so it's not the end of the world if I lose the 500 points for cash@till.
edit: Ok it's 1000 points lost, so yeah I'll not take a chance then :X3:
edit2: It appears that I didn't get the 1000 points for cash@till last month in any event, but yet I am pretty sure that I drew R500 via cash@till but zero via the ATM! So the 1500 point buffer is what I have without those points, and when I get those points I am at 16500 points for PC.

edit3: When we send funds via eWallet to someone else's cell number, does that perhaps count against us as ATM withdrawals?

Generally you do the cash@till as a separate transaction using your Cheque card - even R10 would be sufficient if you don’t use the atm to withdraw during the month. All payments should be processed using your credit card.

You will be charged interest for withdrawing cash from your CC. Always use you cheque card for cash withdrawals.
