I would recommend that you check , you can upgrade the one and not the other. If they didn't specifically do both you might just have a prem credit card. Call ASAP to ensure its both.

The consultant definitely initiated both, as we discussed the bundled option and she also confirmed that all the cards, both cheque and credit, would be delivered to the same location.

Ahh I can see that the cheque has been upgraded too.

Why do you think they advertise a Rand per unit litre on fuel, as opposed to the standard percentage on other services ie 15% back?

Thanks all for the advise. It's only R100 that I need, so not too worried about incurring interest.
I actually have a capitec account, but too much effort to look for a atm. Same goes for std bank. Don't have we hat anyway.
There's a pnp along the route to the place I will be needing the cash so it will work for me.

What is the point of having a Capitec and FNB account? I am just curious as I see some people do use both banks.

Because if the fuel price goes up they pay less.

On a percentage they would be paying more and consistently as the cap would then apply directly to the total pay out every time.

Now the total moves upwards and they pay less because you buy less litres.

Banks go offline sometimes, you don't want be that guy in the line that can't pay for his groceries because you don't have backup.

Premier rule for 1000 points, "Make sure your Cash@Till withdrawals are greater than the value of all your cash withdrawals at ATMs and FNB branches during the month".

This makes it sound like one has to at least withdraw once per month using Cash@Till, because if you don't then your Cash@Till withdrawals cannot possibly be greater than your cash withdrawals from other sources. In addition, would Cardless cash withdrawals count against you for this rule?

Its a strange rule though, I never withdraw cash and it is still allocated.

Has anyone used the Avis point to point for a pickup from the airport after returning from an international trip?
How long after the schedule arrival did you set the pick up time?

I normally set it about half an hour but they do take your flight number into account so that they can be there in time and consider delays.

I'll send a query in the morning then.
Worth a try. Let me know how your interaction goes.
My one transaction was late and going through for this month. I decided to get a quote for funeral cover, I then have to do nothing as everything will be automatically on level 5 (only have to increase my R250 auto transfer to savings pocket).

Hi everyone.

I've lurked and read through much of this year's forum and the 2017 ebucks forum. I want to maximise potential of my ebucks through artificial spend, but have struggled to piece together which methods are still active and how to best utilise them.

WeChat Wallet - (I've signed up but got blocked on first transaction and awaiting fix from the support team) Am I correct in understanding the method is to load FNB cc as payment card - top up wallet by R1k per day and withdraw ~R5k at a time at Standard Bank?

African Bank - With this do you apply for a fixed deposit which you can top up using FNB CC in their branch or easypay in Checkers to benefit from 15% earn? What is the African Bank credit card method I've seen?

Slide - Is this still a thing? I've signed up and loaded cc, but I get redirected to EFT when I want to top up wallet. Does the transfer to a non-FNB bank account get around any "reversal" issues?

Also snapscan just added a wallet, but I can't think of how to get the money out. Is this a thing?

Are there any other artificial spend methods currently in use?

Thanks!

The new caps kills that imo.

I need the artificial spend just to make T5! I'm on RMB young professionals without any of the big investment products yet. Makes hitting T5 a pain, but does have R30k standard spend and R7.5k online cap; but I realise the 6% online spend earn change to just 3% really reduces the potential of the programme.

Even with the spend you going to find hitting T5 is very difficult on RMB... downgrade to PC

Thanks, but the spend is the final thing I need. Any insights on my questions about the spend methods?
