Do at least four payments, transfers and/or purchases per month via the FNB Banking App2 000

Please confirm if transfers between my own fnb accounts (e.g. cheque to credit card) will earn 2000 points?

When the new rules were first released, I thought I read that transfers between accounts were excluded.

Old rules were interaccount transfers, no longer. Has to be lotto or external a payments.

Thanks - I'm sure I read this somewhere - where does it explicitly say that inter account transfers are excluded?

Is it possible they initially excluded it on new rules, and removed the exclusion afterward?

It was there but not anymore. Who's going to test it?

Will email my banker to ask. They explicitly mentioned inter account transfers are excluded, but maybe they changed.

Yeah I remember seeing that. Even emailed my banker to ask if fnb pay counts as an app transaction.

One reason not to go fusion, I used to get my 4 transactions each month by doing my card payment in tranches.

my guess is fnb has probably realized its costing them more to have payments and have therefore re-introduced the transfers

eBucks shop is a barren unexciting landscape. The motivation to maintain my reward L5 is dwindling.....meh to these new rules.

I believe eBuck remains unrivalled, inspite of the rule changes. I'm also grateful to FNB for all the "freebies" I've accumulated over the years, its been great windfall. Jumping through their rule-hoops was worth the effort.

Will I, in the future, jettison to a financial institution that offers something marginally better - gees, i doubt it. I shudder at thoughts of that administrative nightmare. It would have to be something really good - like the eBucks of old. FNB know they already have many of us shackled to them.

I emailed eBucks when the rules were just published... They said that, on Gold at least, Inter account transfers (like paying off your CC) don't count for the app.
My plan was to just pay my monthly levies in 2 parts (Gold only need 2)
But i see now (like the screenshot above) that the website says "payments, transfers and/or purchases"
I'm not gonna take a chance... Still gonna split my levy payment.
So my (obvious) tip is... You can just take a single payment and split it into multiple small payments and use the app.
