I've made more than that in the last two months alone.

I've earned more than R17 000 in the last 12 months, excluding 40% discount.

And rather have my excess cash off R100k sitting in Tyme Bank earning 10% interest.

Best of both worlds.

Beat that!
How much discount did you receive on purchases. You forgot to show that additional benefit and value.

When logging in on the eBucks website it displays a notice:
Please note there has been a delay with eBucks pay-out for August. We are attending to the issue and payments will be processed as soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

My tips:
1. Switch to Capitec Bank
2. Earn +- 4.5% on your positive balance
3. Pay only R5 bank charges instead of R109
Best move ever, no regrets. On a yearly basis I save R1308 on bank charges and earn +- R3000 on interest, beat that
I will stay with FNB and pay my R109 a month in fees to get R800 in ebucks, and I'll earn my 9% interest with Tymebank (which has no monthly account fees) thank you. Your post screams "I don't know what I'm doing, and I'm trying to convince others to make the same bad decisions".

If you want advice when it comes to ebucks, this is the thread. If you want to promote Capitec, you're in the wrong place.

I didn't realise I was so behind in the ebucks thread. My bad for replying to an old comment.

Prior to the changes if I had 50k in my premier Cheque account my fees would not be charged, has this changed?

Still the same rule. If they charged you fees, just email care@fnb.co.za to revert

I quote

"
  • Pay no monthly fee when you maintain a minimum balance of
    R50 000
    in your Premier Cheque Account"

You earn R4308 back in a year from your bank?
Some people here make that in a month from ebucks alone... excluding interest.

Ah late allocation sucks but its fine. Actually after new rules kicked in last year the allocations were pretty spot on with regards to timing.

See it as in, wait a bit vs endless admin issues (backend fixes on their side).

a few months ago I got the MacBook Pro (valued at R25000, at 40% off), after about +- 1 year of saving ebucks.
Does capitac offer a R25000 laptop after 1 year? if yes I will consider moving....
