Re fusion, when can we safely pay it for it to count towards the ebucks reward levels? Does it need to trigger interest (I highly doubt it, as it's not required with the CC spend)?

Not sure if I understand your question...
All Fusion spend counts towards ebucks (Until you hit the limits)
You do not need to cut into your credit limit.

Really? I've been reading this history of this thread and some people move their salaries out of the fusion account for the spend to actually count? Is this all BS?

Specifically talking about this rule:

A nice example, for BF ..... get 10% back on everything that you pay with the app (for BF ONLY).

Myself and the wife both have fusion accounts and only use funds transferred into our accounts.
Credit doesn't get touched.
Both on level 5 and all our spend counts.

That's swipes/online purchases. Transfers won't count.

Actually I just went through the ebucks calculator again and saw this under the borrow section:
