I am in two minds about the 65 and 75 inch sizes. Is the 75 inch size not too big, or is it recommended as a nice cinema size TV? Which one should I pick if money is not a consideration?

I'd go for the 75 inch

Were there any laptops at 40% off? I've been checking all weekend and have not seen any being discounted.

Hope i haven't missed them.

Anybody else having the issue, where their monthly card payment is set for 30th of each month and while FNB took the f u c k I n g money from the current account on Saturday, still not reflecting as paid on credit card, so available balance on CC is nothing in my case. The payment due was 76k (don't ask) and my card limit was reached. Can't buy anything and that payment I made to Amazon continues to bounce with FNB telling me to move to budget - these guys are Muppets. How can transactions not reflect on the day they taken. Yet I transfer some cash to CC today and it shows immediately as available. How can they be so backwards when things have to happen on a weekend

I ordered the 2 x vacuums this afternoon with only R400 discount. Now I see they have 40%. Can I do anything?

Phone the call centre and ask them to cancel that order. Then re-order.
I think someone mentioned on the thread of a similar experience where they ordered an iphone, but then a different model came available later in the day. The call centre was very efficient in cancelling the original order and the ebucks was immediately available to place a new order.

I also had the problem, payment went of on the 25th Nov, and only cleared in mt cc on the 30th Nov. Bankers just told me it always was like this when in fact this never happened before. Also contacted RBJacobs on twitter and he/she said he would report it to the credit card department.

Really a pain in the A when you plan around that money being available when deducted from your cheque account, but they keep it for 4 days and I must suffer.

Yeah, 4 days later, still not sorted. I don't need this c r a p in my life. Is there any bank in South Africa, that actually processes payments / debit orders correctly immediately , regardless of day , (FNB can't do anything on weekends - so much for being the best bank) . I don't give a hoot about ebucks anymore - the price is too taxing mentally . I just want a bank that works. After all I do pay them service fees.

Tried the app right now to contact bankers, 547 in the queue at 05:30 in the morning - something is not right.

No-one mans that queue overnight - no matter what they say. Had the same the other morning at 7, and gave up. Tried them again after 8, and suddenly I was helped almost immediately.

Had similar issue- money shows deducted from current account, but not in cc, then I do some payments, and next day the "payment failed due to insufficient funds"- with all associated interest.
The delay between the money taken from cheque and showing in cc for me is 2 days on average.

Seen this for months now: "Number 300 in the queue" at odd times. Put the phone down, and 10 min later see message "We did not receive any response from you"
