I've returned something only once. It was last month and returned after a week of purchase. Packaging was not opened and they first called to confirm the reason for the return and it was collected a week later. Ebucks was refunded about another week after that.
Perfect. Thanks so much

I don't use eBucks( not interested in banking with FNB or signing up either), but just curious...

what would 15-20k worth of them translate to in monetary terms?

Depends what you want to do with them. If you want to spend them the lazy and worst way possible, then eB10 = 1 ZAR. If you're willing to look for deals or vouchers at a 40% discount on the eBucks website then eB10 = 1.666 ZAR

Either way doesn't seem too bad +- R1000-R2000
The reason I ask is a relative is looking at buying 2 laptops from Makro and would be receiving that amount of eBucks rewards so in essence the laptops would be approx 1k cheaper than purchase price....

If I open a Money Maximiser account ( for 7.1% no notice savings rate on > 100k deposits) can I make use of eBucks or must I open/ have a FNB current/cheque account?

Don't really wanna go through all the shlep of opening up 2 more bank accounts in addition to those I already have just to utilise eBucks.

Why? You lose nothing by switching. Just treat fusion as you did your old cheque account

Because EFTs while I was in overdraft previously did not attract immediate interest. However, contrary to what one of the posters said, it looks like this is the behaviour with Fusion as well. If you perform an EFT from your credit card, you attract immediate interest.

EFT while in overdraft has always attracted immediate interest on all accounts. Best option is to keep a smallish positive balance on fusion for eft / cash withdrawals while using the credit card for swipes

You will get 4% back in ebucks with global card but remember that you will be hit by the bank selling buying rate when u buy the dollars and a 2.75% charge for currency conversion from dollars to lira. Whilst on the credit card you will only be charge the 2.75% currency conversion fee only and you will make about 2% back in ebucks

My advise would be that if u hitting your ebucks swipe limit on your cc (which is 10k) then it might be more feasible to use you global debit card due to the fact that after 10k you only get back 0.3% in ebucks with cc

But if you not hitting that 10k limit then best to Use cc..... Work out the maths and see which is best for u

If u dont want to pay the fees and earn the ebucks then your capitec global one card works the best

Dont forget to fone the bank and inform them of overseas usage

Just open one account with the money maximiser, a fusion account, that will also help with ebucks points to go up an earn level.

Probably online but not sure there, no interest charged. I debit my mtn contract, how can I check if that's charged as online?

I bought something at Cape union Mart today and got the following R200 off any purchase over R1000 at the following stores: Old khaki, Poetry , Keedo, Tread and Miller.

Each is a seperate vouchers for each store and it has a barcode so assume it is store specific.

Pm me if you want any of these vouchers.

Edit : valid until 2 September 2019

Edit 2: Old Khaki and poetry has been taken... Keedo and Thread & Miller are left.

Which one account, Maximiser of Fusion?
Sorry I didn't engrish very well. To earn ebucks the only account you will need other than the Maximiser account is a Fusion acc and that has the benefit of earning more tier points and bypassing the requirement for a cheque and credit account to enable earning the most ebucks.

I think you are able to earn ebucks from partner stores without any fnb accounts
