So why don't we all send emails to mybroadband let them approach FNB on the utter lack of any discounts or deals?

Surely this is becoming false advertising, with FNB advertising 40% discounts on Vouchers, products and Travel if there hasn't been anything in ages?

There has been both vouchers and 40% off in the past 3 months..
Are you happy with that? Last time stuff was discounted was in September.
If they want to impose monthly voucher caps, then they must have vouchers monthly, or allow the voucher limit to roll over.

Although useless, Ster Kinekor vouchers are discounted every month.
So I suppose that counts as "40% off"....

Thats what happens, South Africans initially complain...it falls on deaf ears or companies that don't give a crap about their customers and eventually even the customers stop complaining and just go with the flow. Its not like we desperately need the vouchers or the discounts, we just expect to see more of what all the advertising and marketing points too ie: 40% discounts and vouchers. The problem is that the expectation for customers has already been set by the past discounts on products and vouchers which makes it seem not worth it anymore to jump through all these hoops. The "It's better than nothing I guess" mentality will soon set in...

Ebucks track my rewards is updated as at 02 Nov. Lvl 5 already .
This is such a nice function, when it works and when it's kept updated.

Your current reward level is simply carried over from the previous month.
The track my rewards is accurate as at 02 Nov. For example, I did 3 streaming services in Oct, it indicates the 1 I did on 01 Nov.
I did over 20 transactions in the app in Oct, it shows the 9 I've done in Nov.

Apologies, I was thinking smart spend. The track my rewards thing is indeed very nice. I did however notice on some criteria it uses old data which could be confusing.

No worries bud.
Just wanting to change the tune here a bit, get things a bit more positive on this thread.

Since upgrading is mentioned...

I received an email on Friday from FNB that apparently they cannot cater for my banking requirements any longer and that "apparently" I'm in need of their "Solutionist Thinking ;)" RMB team...
I didn't ask or sign-up for this, quite happy with bog standard PC from FNB on which I only caved a few months ago after years of pestering marketing calls and app prompts for PC/PW.

What's notable is that it seems they're moving me regardless - verbatim wording from email:
"As such, I have the pleasure of informing you that your portfolio will be moving to RMB Private Bank."

Did anyone else get this or are going through this? Will my eBucks L5 tier be affected (as it's their move, not mine)? I'd welcome the extra Checkers/Clicks spending + potential aditional smart spend, but other than that, I know very little about what I'm in for. For one not happy if they decide on their own accord that I have to pay higher banking fees and have to hit higher goals for eB tiers etc.

Eb is somewhat harder on RMB/PW level. Its do-able if you do your homework

I cant believe they upgraded you without confirming with you. FNB is all admin. Always history to confirm what they doing via client requests.
