Fusion saves you the hasle of having to transfer money from your cheque to credit to maximize ebucks earned.
I read in the premier / premier fusion fees document that you get charges R69 or something if you use more then R200 on your ovedraft.

I suspect the fusion account is simply a R15 discounted normal cheq acc with an expensive overdraft included. IF you have a personal loan (dont think this includes a home loan) then they discount the fusion account fee. FNB credit department making sneaky plans to up sales.

I've actually never earned any reward level points even though I almost always use my overdraft...

Edit: reward level points not ebucks

You don't earn eBucks for going into overdraft.

You earn reward level points for going into overdraft

Did not really plan to get anything specific this year, but managed a few at 40% off... Mi Robot vacuum mop, Xbox Series S, Fitbits & a few smaller items.

I bought all the black and decker multievo accessories and a lot of other small things.
My intention was to get a new dishwasher and washing machine.
No cheap washing machines and no dishwashers.
Didn't pull the trigger on a few items because I was holding out for dishwasher and washing machine.

Missed out on those multievo accessories, by the time I wanted to checkout they were gone... hope they'll be back in stock and at 40% off again in the near future...

Managed to get the Q70T after missing out on it last week... was holding on to my bucks hoping for some 2020 LG's at 40% off but there was nothing on that front...

An Xbox series X at 40% off would be lovely to close off the year...

I'm currently on fnb easy account(student) which I only got airtime from buy from checkers, January I will be starting to work and I wanted to upgrade my account so that I can earn ebucks.
I have been going through this thread trying to figure out which is the best account or combination to maximize earning ebucks. I do qualify for premier but I see lot of people saying u earn ebucks via fusion. Please help,

All depends on your spend. If you planning to spend around 8K a month, gold would be good. R10K a month spend would be platinum and so forth and so on. There’s a graduate account, with lower basic minimum requirements to start earning, like R3,500 monthly deposit. Just don’t be tempted by status, when it comes to colour of Card. Think about what will be most practical for your needs

Thanx for the advice, most important for me is to have an account that charges me a monthly fee and I don't get additional exorbitant fees. I have looked at other banks and I have decided to stay with fnb. The status and colour of the card don't matter to me my classmates have taken the card. So since Im staying with fnb I was looking at ways I can maximize earning ebucks.

Only a pleasure. If price is a thing, Gold would be your best bet. I’d also be inclined to think that as a graduate just starting out, you won’t be a big spender so Gold would ordinarily be fine. It’s also easier to reach level 5 on Gold. Follow this group carefully, learn the rules and look for the cheapest ways to bump up levels and you should be fine. Also be savvy in how you spend eBucks (only 40% off deals), for extra value... Good luck and welcome to the awesome world of eBucks ;D

is it still valid, can someone post the promo code here?

Not worth it. Only valid if your spend on Mr D is fully eBucks, as far as I understand. Think also valid until 9 dec

Skip the pump and scissors, very disappointed.
The pump couldn't blow up a largish pool toy. I eventually just took a hand pump and the manual pumping was less painful and much quicker than the vibration from holding the multievo pump for 15min.
It only pumped up a soccer ball fine.

The reciprocating saw is amazingly powerful and one of my fav accessories by far.
I haven't tested the router yet.
I think I just need the sander, circular saw and jigsaw to complete my collection.
