Their deals this year was crazy...there's no way you can be disappointed.
There's many ways, mainly related to how and when they put items on discount. Many have shared their reasons on why they didn't appreciate this year's methods.

Yeah, and irritated with the cat and mouse approach used to give us 40% deals during the '20th birthday month' period.
Definitely, the run around is annoying, people are not sitting around all day waiting for deals to show up.

Not really!

Biggest bargain was the 82” 4k samsung tv, listed from R39 999 to R17 999!
Don't get me wrong, there were bargains for sure, managed to get my wife a better phone than she would have bought, at 40% off too.
I wish they had more of the "normal" items on sale. Not everyone can or wants to use an 82" TC, or a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Haha
Oh well, more eBucks saved up for next year.

Skip the pump and scissors, very disappointed.
The pump couldn't blow up a largish pool toy. I eventually just took a hand pump and the manual pumping was less painful and much quicker than the vibration from holding the multievo pump for 15min.
It only pumped up a soccer ball fine.

The reciprocating saw is amazingly powerful and one of my fav accessories by far.
I haven't tested the router yet.
I think I just need the sander, circular saw and jigsaw to complete my collection.

Thanks for the feedback. I've had the reciprocating saw and it is amazing, favourite part. Was wondering if the scissors and pump were worth it, but glad i didn't get it. Might get a backup for the reciprocating saw though, next time it comes round and the other saws.

quick question, I cant seem to find the birthday promo code for MRD. it was something like: ""get 20% off your next order"

is it still valid, can someone post the promo code here?
There was no code and I ordered using my ebucks but got nothing off. Called the ebucks line and they were hella confused and ultimately said they would log a call...

Yeah we have better things to do! As a result, I only spent eB27k +/- during November, and now I am back to a balance of eB250k :X3:

I need to deposit some cash into my account, what is the safest (and cost effective) way to put cash into your account without adversely affecting ebucks lvl?

I gave up after I saw amount of documents needed lol
you go through the pain once, wife and I did it - went to Cape Town HO on foreshore, met with a decent consultant. In terms of RICA, our rates bill was not sufficient, so she drove to our house to 'confirm'. All sorted.

Anyone tried the new spot app? I don't think there's limits to top up and cash out your wallet anymore meaning the full 25k spend needed for smart spend can be done in 1 transaction. They charged 5 rand to cash out my wallet that is new as it was free on the old spot app but 5 rand once off isn't bad if you doing a 15-20k transaction.

I was waiting for someone to find out the fees - thanks! Ready to try it now.

Has Virgin sold the Spot business to someone, new App is just Spot Money?
