Yip. 16th for me too - that's 7 days (5 work days) for those counting...
Not very consistent I'd say.
The fact that adjustments are coming through leads me to believe they're tweaking algorithms and stuff, so delays are kinda reasonable imho.

If you search your inContact emails the subject header will contain "smartapp" for any app transactions.

e.g. FNB :) R123.00 t/fer from home loan a/c..555999 to Fusion a/c..555888 @ Smartapp. 21Jul 10:10
Great suggestion. I turned off inContact emails, but the same idea works with sms.

EDIT: Shucks, I don't get incontact for small amounts... Guess I'll have to look at the statement and do a manual count.

You can also just set your incontect from R1. Then you get a notification for every amount over that. Less admin.

I suspect there was a bug in it as I seem to have been getting for Partner spend as well as non-partner spend. So that is maybe why they have paused it.
Partner and non-partner spend is included for smart spend.

Are you guys able to transfer between your account to your home loan ?
Keeps on failing for me and when I called to query this, I was told I need to create a beneficiary for my home loan now all of a sudden.

Yes of course it is. It is a loophole in the system which people exploit. So you should ask yourself if you want to enriched yourself in a dishonest way.
The abuse is well documented. For example, abuse of Dischem with Netflix vouchers and electricity. Many other examples. Read the forum.
This is hilarious. To a brick and mortar retailer, additional foot traffic is the core activity of their marketing efforts. 15% off products up to a certain cap (remember grocery margins rarely exceed 5% anyway, so don't fret the electricity), could be cheaper than alternative marketing spend for getting as much loyalty and regularity out of those customers.

Has anyone ever heard of a sale? Loss leading products? 15% is a lot less than stores typically have to give up to get additional feet in the door.

Follow the money folks - no company would consistently engage in behaviour that loses them money.

Question.. Smart spend says last updated 21st Jul.. Will that include purchases that were done on the 21st..reason I'm asking is I specifically put through an amount of R3200 and it doesn't seems it has reflected.. Not sure if it's transaction up to 20th and then updated on 21st...thx in advance

I agree. Still can't wrap my head around how buying something without doing anything shady is "a loophole". I agree that the scode method of paying for things via discounted checkers vouchers was dodge, but not paying for Netflix vouchers with Dischem vouchers, from Dischem. Partners come and go all the time. If Dischem were losing so much cash, I dunno, surely they could have instructed their tellers to, I don't know, refuse the buying of Netflix vouchers with vouchers?

If the transaction was cleared (not in a pending state), it would in theory be counted. In your case, I think it would probably count the next time smart spend is updated (if that transaction was cleared by then)

Last month it took no cash to balance the credit card on the selected date, so i had to transfer it manualy.
