Anyone tried and successfully paid with eB @ Istore, in store or online. I don’t see anyway to pay online. Seems odd there is no mention of their new partnership anywhere.

Funny enough, I was also looking at this earlier today. On the online store, there’s only mention of Standard bank rewards as payment option.

On the ebucks site it’s says you can spend online or in store. Maybe you need to pay in cash then “claim” it back by converting the ebucks once the payment goes through

Pay in eBucks

Choose to pay or part-pay for recent iStore in-store or online purchases using your eBucks instead of Rands.

How does this work?

  • Visit the Pay in eBucks tab on the FNB/RMB Private Bank App
  • Select a recent iStore transaction
  • Enter the amount you'd like to pay or part-pay in eBucks
  • That amount will be debited from your available eBucks balance
  • The account used for the original iStore purchase with be credited in Rands

Thanks for this. I forgot you could actually do this.

So I'm currently tracking my online spend manually as I always do, I check my card history to see if I have already purchased from MrD/Uber, but I'm sure I purchased on Uber last week using a vcc, but it's not showing up there.
Anyone else have the same issue?

Hopefully no-one on this thread is foolish enough to spend eB at face value, especially not at a 15% partner

I’ve noticed the VC card purchases takes awhile to reflect under the transaction history

My upgrade is complete from premier to pc, but now on the smartspend tab, it gives me the options of Premier current account and credit card or pc credit card only.

It should also show pc current account as I upgraded both.

Anyone else with a similar issue on smartspend?

are you 100% sure you upgraded both.

I asked them to do both, but they only did the CC... i had to follow up

Pls elaborate as I don't see anything on the purchase I did using vcc on psn store
From what I've noticed when paying with a VC, the transaction can take days for it to reflect under my transaction history (the purchase goes through fine though).

When it eventually does show, I can see by the last four digits of the card number for that specific transaction that it was my VC

Also, you can see from the transaction details which starts with 'payD' and then the provider's name.

I have both the PC cards in my possession already and on the app under cards it shows both cards so I'm not sure why it's showing like this. I went ahead and logged a query with ebucks, so hopefully it's just a glitch or something.
