My TV also just arrived.... Busy doing unboxing right now....
My TV also arrived this afternoon. But after waiting basically 3 weeks they sent me the wrong model. I bought a Hisense android tv but they sent a Vidaa powered tv. I did not accept the order and emailed The supplier. Hopefully they will send me the correct tv.

Hi guys,

A few questions on eBucks Travel:

1. Does 40% off flights work only if you use eBucks, or does it also apply to cash payments?

2. Do you still need to be travelling with an extra passenger, for them to also get 40% off too?

3. How does eBucks Travel compare in terms of competitiveness?

1. No you can pay cash, no ebucks needed to get the discount on the specified discounted airlines.
2. You only get the discount if for example it is your spouse and you have the spousal plan and they also qualify for the discount. If it is your kids they need to have a fnby account linked to yours.
3. I think they are very competitive, you can see the price the airline charges on their own sites and you really get 40% off. The only thing is they bundle baggage into the price on local flights where on the local airlines own site you can opt to only take hand baggage. So you have to compare those flight with the bags included. Nice thing about ebucks travel is you can easily mix local airlines, for example fly kulula to cape town and fly lift back if they are cheaper all in one booking.
I used them to book emirates flights in the past and also got 40% off compared to the price directly on emirates.

I find the website much easier to use than the app and you get to your final price much quicker than on the app, wish they smooth the experience on the app. They have this weird thing though if you book using the website you can’t get the discount on the car hire, really bizarre as what is the difference in the end.

Still waiting for my Black Thursday order as well.

Received a message 4 days ago before 7am that my Parcelninja parcel was out for delivery by FnF, never arrived after staying put the whole day. 6:11 this morning "unfortunately F F could not deliver your parcel during this run...."

Anyone else have black friday orders cancelled by eBucks?

Still struggling with my black Friday order:

  • Get an sms saying my item is cancelled. No reason.
  • Upon further enquiry, they oversold the item (based on what the call centre agent said).
  • eBucks call centre can't help so I log a HelloPeter.
  • They offer to give me a different brand lower model, which I decline. All I want is a voucher for the value of the item so I can buy something else.
  • After multiple follows, queries and requests, they call back to say they will refund my eBucks and arrange for a discounted voucher (which I will pay for) to purchase the item at Hirschs. Fair enough, I will get the eBucks back and I will pay a discounted amount for a item of my choice. 20 days after the order was placed.
  • Via email, they then state they will only give a voucher for roughly half the retail value of the item I bought.

Yep sounds like my experience exactly. At my wits end with my ebucks fridge order currently.

Got a call for my outstanding black friday TV from Digital Planet. Warehouse has closed and they will only start shipping in January again. Estimated delivery 13th Jan. Lovely. I had to call Ebucks last week to ask them what's wrong and then it was my tv licence that was a problem, not anymore magically. The agent saying, "Oh, did no one contact you" really grated my cheese.
