Anyone else experiencing Tap to Pay issues with their NFC phone's? I can Tap to Pay no problem, but when the transaction exceeds R200 and my pin is required, it gets declined. I've logged this 3 times with FNB Online Banking, they are still investigating and saying it's now seen as a 'global issue' as I'm not the only one with this problem. Anyone else having issues?
Nope, no issues at all

Just came back from the store, had an issue with the tap to pay (using actual card), cashier says been happening with all the FNB cards today

1. Draw from Checkers or PnP using Cash@Till
2. Send via eWallet to a cell number that FNB doesn't associate with your profile.in any shape or form.

I actually kept my Absa account open to withdraw cash from their. Its the lowest account fee account they have. I am not a fan of asking for $$$ at a till. Too many people can see you withdrew $$$ too.

I will always have money in the absa account if I need to withdraw, else an immediate payment works too incase of emergency.

The real issue with cash at the till is they never have much cash these days, most people pay with card.

The cashier always needs to call a manager and they have to scrounge around other tills gathering what you need, while everyone glares at you and 10mins later you can finally leave with your seemingly giant wad cash.

I am sure there are enough people paying cash but lack of cash at till is mostly because till gets routinely "emptied" and sent it to safe location, either inhouse safe or cash van (once/twice a day).

Just a speculation though/.

The cash in a till is only cleared at the end of the cashiers shift, even a withdrawl under R1000 typically makes the shift manager round around scratching for it.

I've given up doing cash at till unless it's just a few 100s because it's almost always such a schlep and time waster.

Please can someone assist me in this dilemma, I can't find anything for certain on the rules but want to make sure before I pull the trigger.

So I was first to jump into the whole Fusion business back in 2018, I got myself a Fusion - Premier Card and I have an FNB Private Clients Credit Card with a credit facility naturally. So I'm trying to clean up my accounts ext can I do the following:

Reduce FNB Fusion Card to a lower nearly 0 overdraft Facility
Change Debits etc to run from Credit Card which has my main credit facility on it with the 55-day etc
Change my FNB Private Clients Credit Card to an FNB Premier Credit Card

Any eBucks gurus or just banking peeps able to help on this. It doesn't seem like Id be missing anything but like I mentioned this is purely just for me to clean up shop a bit, thankfully debt on neither card but I don't want to have so much exposure nor do I need it so If I can simplify my life and still meet the eBucks demands this way, Id love for someone to validate this with me, please.

I know this rule exists but surely I can make it a far lower limit than I currently have? "Have an active FNB Fusion Premier Account with a credit limit and an active FNB Fusion Premier card." - 1000pt

i am busy with exactly the same thing... but i think i am stuck between premier and private clients in terms of ebucks points because under track my rewards both options show, so i am scrambling to make points on both now, premier FUSION card i just got,(1000 points) and i have just asked bank to downgrade private clients to premier credit card and put me on the premier fusion bundled option, thats for the SMART SPEND scenario, so i can earn on both cards, else with your old option you will seemingly only earn smart spend for the credit card but i could be wrong, it is very confusing... i must also tell them to do an automatic payment option for the credit card same time they downgrade me (1000 points) i have now created a virtual premier debit card so i can do the 2xfnb tap to pay (1000 points) , then i just did a payment from non fnb account to my fnb fusion account for R13500 to meet the qualifying criteria. i am busy with rest of points tonight and tomorrow, i can post again once i made sure i got enough points on both - and i use the ebucks online rules and the track my rewards on the app to help me make sure i got enough points - you will see on the track my rewards that if you click on fnb private clients then you can choose between that and the premier option, so you can check your points on both options.

I had a sizeable transaction clear on my CC statement on the 30th of December (to max out my smart spend for the month) .Instead of getting the spart spend for December it was allocated to Jan 2021 spend.

The December spend would have been more, can I dispute this with the call centre?

I doubt it, they are very clear that transactions that don't clear before month-end will be allocated to the next month's smart spend.
