Could you please specify a few ways other than groceries and rates/taxes that can be used to earn ebucks from checkers?

All EasyPay things (cellphone contracts, rates, postpaid electricity). I can't remember if there's peeps doing prepaid electricity as well. Netflix and Uber vouchers. Load up a gift card each month until you have enough to replace your washing machine.

Yes, prepaid electricity also counts. Between electricity, rates, school fees (thankfully they provide an easypay number), and groceries, I easily max out both Clicks and Checkers on Premier.

Hoping for some honesty here. If you have no home loan, petrol spend less than 500 per month and grocery spend less than 3K per month at checkers/shoprite, can one reach level 5 ? If not, what is the maximum one can reach ?
I don't have a home loan, savings, or a car loan with FNB. I am on level 5. I see lots of replies to your question already but the simple answer is yes it's possible.

I am not sure if it has been mentioned before but now you can use eBucks to pay for items at the iStore. The drawback is that you miss out on the 15% eBucks earned if you had paid by credit card. The upside is that you can pretty much buy anything Apple with eBucks. Considering that the latest Apple products are hardly ever discounted, one might as well just use the eBucks at the iStore. I am saving up to buy my new iPhone with eBucks as we speak.

This is a very stupid rule, one which i think i just got caught out on. having checked the rules it said you can earn ebucks at istore. so i bought at istore at a physical store, because they didnt have stock online, then i checked the rules again it said R17500 per year is the max you can buy.... but under partners it shows istore only under online, not instore, this doesnt make sense at all and has cost me a lot of potential ebucks....... maybe i should try and pay it with ebucks when that message comes up about 'you paid xxxx with card when you could have paid with ebucks' or maybe i should sell some ebucks to make up for it...

Fusion overdraft now counts for nothing right, so did anyone here close down their overdrafts, or reduce the limit to a very low one?

I was wondering about this one.

According to the rules:
Have an active FNB Fusion Private Clients Account with a credit limit and an active FNB Fusion Private Clients card.

So I am not sure if you can close the overdraft (since it is a fusion account), also I cannot see at what amount FNB charges you for using the overdraft. If under R200, I would set it to R150 (for example).

Ah thanks for catching that. OK so we need it but aren't compelled to use it. I suppose it could come in handy to have a medium sized overdraft in case all other cards are blocked for some unlikely reason in the future.

Please help - is it a bad idea to transfer funds from CR card to cheque and also to perhaps pay school fees from credit card using the app?

I need to assist a family affected by the floods in EL and another pay for a childs school fees today but I didn't want to mess things up by moving funds from my savings pocket before FNB finalises the ebucks calculations...
