Please help - is it a bad idea to transfer funds from CR card to cheque and also to perhaps pay school fees from credit card using the app?

I need to assist a family affected by the floods in EL and another pay for a childs school fees today but I didn't want to mess things up by moving funds from my savings pocket before FNB finalises the ebucks calculations...
I think you'll be hit with interest charges on the credit card immediately if you transfer money out of it. That's if you don't have a "positive" balance, i.e. using your own money on the credit card. How are you going to pay the school fees? An EFT from the credit card? That will also attract interest immediately, I think.

You should be fine to move the funds out of the savings pocket. The eBucks allocation that happens today or tomorrow or whenever won't be affected by it. That calculation is already done. You can return the money into the savings pocket before the month end to ensure this month is also good.

Hey guys a quick one here.

I have a Premier bundled account, my spouse uses a different bank.

I want to get her on the spousal pricing option. How do I go about it.

Does she open the lowest account and then upgrade her to the spousal or what?

She gets the same account as you, at around R120 pm for cheque(fusion even better) AND credit card. Call them, but you'll probably have to go to a branch with your wife.

Please elobarate.. On which accounts specifically? Is this something new? Thx in advance
I was somewhat mistaken, we still need the credit limit on the Fusion accounts (post by McGuywer below) but the rule to use at least 1k of it fell away on 1 July 2021. Whether that is the same for all accounts or not I don't know offhand sorry.
edit: Seems to be the case for Premier, PC and PW. I dont know how Aspire and Easy works...

I was wondering about this one.

According to the rules:
"Have an active FNB Fusion Private Clients Account with a credit limit and an active FNB Fusion Private Clients card."

So I am not sure if you can close the overdraft (since it is a fusion account), also I cannot see at what amount FNB charges you for using the overdraft. If under R200, I would set it to R150 (for example).

I don't see the 30% for clicks purchases. Any idea if this will be updated later?
