Fusion overdraft now counts for nothing right, so did anyone here close down their overdrafts, or reduce the limit to a very low one?

i am switching to fusion premier bundled option , which is fusion debit card and premier credit card. one price for the bundle and get eb points for having both. was really struggling to understand how this fusion works, and then smart spend imo i was going to lose out because i was in between debit and credit card and then smart spend you would only get on credit card if you spent on both, so just made sense to go back to old way and use credit card instead of overdraft

thanks yes you are right and i am relieved i do earn ebucks by swiping my fnb card instore at ISTORE. the lack of logo under the partners instore tab got me very confused

I wish they could sort out the ebucks calculator , or at least make it more accurate/updated during the month.

On level 4 I'm actually paying them more than my eBucks reward :-(

Yeah you doing it wrong.
You must be on the wrong account/ fee structure.
My rewards to Ebucks is nearly 11 : 1 monthly.

Didn't get my double fuel as the Steers in Observatory's card machine says "Total Observatory". Logged a query with FNB to fix

Update: They won't rectify it as I needed to keep the receipt for the Steers I bought that's located INSIDE the bloody Total shop...

Auto fix if you spend less then R100 no slip needed, but more than R100 you need keep slip

If I were you, I would buy from the Steers again, show the transaction and slip to eBucks.

I will keep on fighting this, if I were you.

This is also due to the Steers staff probably using the "wrong" pos device.

Go to the shop and talk to the manager. Say that you need a slip for work and generally they can reprint the slip for you.
Generally with big chains, ie steers, they are very accommodating.

Does not seem like any eBucks were earned on purchases?

Feedback: queried and eBucks manually allocated for online liquorshop purchases

Yep, but if I buy from Steers, I don't expect it to come through as Total and that I needed to keep the slip...oh well...so be it.

I upgraded my account from Aspire to Premier, mostly for getting better eBucks rewards. Does anyone know/remember how long their eBucks earn system took to changeover to the Premier way of earning? When I was busy upgrading my account, the consultants said it would be immediate, but so far both the app and the website are still showing the Aspire earning system. I upgraded on Monday btw

Mine was sorted in the new month after I upgraded, although I upgraded on the 1st.

Advice from the previous thread, try and meet the Premier goals now already to reach lvl5

Thats a odd time to upgrade anyway since you were Aspire it shouldnt really matter.

Last year I upgraded after the day ebucks was in, the next day the app showed Premier for both debit and cc.

Quick Q: I might find myself no longer residing and working within the borders of SA.

I'll still have some debit orders and homeloans locally, but spending will be very limited.

Is it worth it to pursue ebucks on a lower account (currently on PW) or do I simply look for something simplistic like a Capitec account seeing that my fnb account will pretty much dormant.

Thanks for the tip. If it does require me to wait till the next month that does suck a bit, but I guess I can put off shopping at Checkers and Clicks till the new month to make sure I earn the Premier way

I actually only encountered this thread over the weekend and realised how much I was missing out on on Aspire, so I changed as soon as I could hoping the rewards system would also change ASAP
