Thanks for the tip. If it does require me to wait till the next month that does suck a bit, but I guess I can put off shopping at Checkers and Clicks till the new month to make sure I earn the Premier way

I actually only encountered this thread over the weekend and realised how much I was missing out on on Aspire, so I changed as soon as I could hoping the rewards system would also change ASAP
You should probably carry on with your Clicks and Checkers shopping and just behave as if you are on Premier right now. When the ebucks are allocated to you in the next month, it should be on Premier rules I would imagine.

Yep, but if I buy from Steers, I don't expect it to come through as Total and that I needed to keep the slip...oh well...so be it.
I agree.
Ive said in years past that ebucks should never make a rule that they don't have full sight of the data.
Customers have no idea if they are using forecourt speed points or that Total runs the steers.

If they are hellbent on this rule, then they should rather just say that all spend at a fuel station must be at an engen to get double fuel.
That way there's no ambiguity about when you buy steers at a total, Seattle Coffee at caltex, etc.
That way people know what to expect and aren't required to understand the inner workings of every business to get their rewards from their bank.

Quick Q: I might find myself no longer residing and working within the borders of SA.

I'll still have some debit orders and homeloans locally, but spending will be very limited.

Is it worth it to pursue ebucks on a lower account (currently on PW) or do I simply look for something simplistic like a Capitec account seeing that my fnb account will pretty much dormant.
Check the calculator but I would think that changing to a simplistic account would be best.

PE people, I've asked before in the past but I'm just checking again... still no way to purchase electricity online? Only WireIt which is eft? It grates me that I'm missing out on Smartspend.

I don't see NMBM as a supported municipality for electricity purchases. Are you from PE and do you use EasyPay for this?
Have you tried clicks? I think the best would be to move to a functioning municipality.

Apologies, I missed the PE part.

Using easy pay for Jhb and CT across multiple suburbs and municipalities - no problems

I have tried Click, doesn't work. Yes, NMBM is very much dysfunctional.

Not sure if it's possible to buy electricity from Checkers in PE? I think I've tried in the past, but no go. Some petrol stations sell prepaid, but take only cash.
