Upgraded from Gold to Fusion in May and can confirm the cheaper bundle price. Received my new Fusion card a couple of days later.

The frustrating part is my Credit Card not being delivered. Two weeks ago, my card was apparently with couriers and they contact me...still waiting...

Phoned in this morning, after being passed around and now one able to check for me, the last lady told me there is a backorder of Credit Cards for clients that signed up in May and June?! I put the phone down....so frustrating

I always have my cards delivered to the closest branch to avoid sht with couriers.

ive never used scan to pay before. Do you just tell the cashier that you would like to use Scan to pay at the till ?

Ask the teller you wish to pay via Masterpass. Select My Cards, Choose the Virtual Card, Select FNB Pay, Select Scan to Pay.

tell them you want the little picture thingy (That works for me most of the time)
I find if i say scan to pay, they just put up the tap to pay option, then we have to cancel and redo it..

So I have been trying to get my wife's gold acc upgraded and linked (spousal) from last week. tried messaging on the app, called the premier call centre, got referred tot he gold call centre, was told they would call back since spousal accounts are different.
I decided to go into the branch yesterday to get it all done, was a much better route since I was able to get my first fnbY account unblocked, upgraded and linked my wife's acc and opened up a second fnbY acc to link to hers.
.... should be all set for L5 now

It seems different people have different experiences with each method. Two or so years back going to the branch was the worst thing I could have done. Getting them to call me and do the upgrade that way this time was much better for me. I did get the runaround with the many transfers and it was a bit frustrating. But it worked out in the end. Happy level fiving

when i go to track my rewards, I have to manually choose PC, then i get a bunch of warnings kinda telling me I dont meet any of the criteria.

Is anyone else having that?

Agree, these couriers are a hit and miss. Had real round around with CCD couriers once. They say they going to deliver on a certain day then never pitch then sms you saying delivery unsuccessful, need to reschedule.

When did you upgrade? You need only upgrade after allocation is done

Interesting disocvery is doing 40% discount on any vendor where you can spend miles, on 15th of each month. So eahc month you can get 40% discount at anything on takealot if you spend miles.

Huh? Someone doing a credit check on you affects your credit score? Explain.

yes, any application for "credit" goes through the credit bureau to see if you qualify or have no default etc. The more checks done, they probably assume you are applying for more credit.

Too many credit checks can apparently negatively affect your score, I'm assuming that's if there are multiple checks within a short time, means you are applying for to much credit or I don't know.

Even getting short term insurance quotes results in credit checks.
An overdraft is more like a traditional loan and hence less interest and more flexibility, accessing credit via negatively withdrawing on your Fusion account results in credit card type interest and repayment terms. If you need a large loan facility from time to time don't use your Fusion account, have a cheque account with overdraft.

Yup, same here. I suspect it will be updated after the next allocation

lol i had 2 cards for delivery from CCD. They deliver 1 card to my bank branch and the next card directly to my home address on the same day .
