Hi gents.
Is it possible to transfer money into my Fixed Deposit account?
I get the following error trying to do so:
01additional Amt Not Allowed
Error code: 5003

Only reason I'm increasing is for additional ebucks points.

Regards,
Not allowed.. Can only increase when terms matures.. Ie in 12 months

Thanks for the feedback gents, I guess I'll focus on the other ways to increase my points. I just want a buffer as I'm making level 5 only just.

I checked the statements on the website for it now, they indicate I can add money on the date of maturity, which is on the first of every month (I have the 30 day fixed deposit account I think)

Maturity is at the end of the contract.. Not monthly

You can only make deposits with a Flexi Fixed deposit account at FNB. But the interest rates are lower than the traditional fixed deposit.

A question on PW if anyone has the answer. PC and Premier has smart budget and credit status which is 3000 points. How do you make up that difference on PW, essentially a lot of points to achieve somewhere else. Are there points to be earned elsewhere that is not available to PC or Premier?

I think you get points nav home, but thats only like 500.

I make it up having 3500USD in global account and then use revolving loan as buffer.

How do you keep the interest you pay on the revolving loan minimal enough to make it worthwhile for the ebucks?

Hi all - So I got this voucher from Ebucks apparently - but low and behold - not one person at two Engen's that I visited knows how this works. I have already redeemed the voucher and have the credit on the Engen app - but the staff at both the petrol stations were pretty clueless. Does anyone perhaps know about this?

When I purchase in an engen store, the card machine presents 2 options: 1card or your physical card
So Im assuming they just have to select the 1card option as mentioned in step 4 when choosing payment method.

EDIT: I only mentioned in store because that is when ive seen it, but Im assuming its also on the outside pos.

I think it works like this.

When you want to pay, choose the Engen app and then "scan to pay" and then when you choose payment option, choose "1card", which is where the credit is loaded

Where did you find that voucher in the app?
A free no strings or minimum purchase R500 voucher is unusual.

I got a Just for You message stating that due to me only filling up at Engen in the last quarter they are awarding this due to my "loyalty" towards Engen - something like that.

I will see if I can get the original message and post a snippet of it.
