Seems to be an error with the fuel spend. Ebucks is telling me that i have non-engen fuel spend

Its very simple actually. If you put fuel in, look what the visa line description is. If it doesnt contain “engen”, you need to proof its engen. The basic fix is, take a snapshot of your engen 1 app, and send that in.

I am in the same boat, and its a mission to get it fixed!

What do you recommend?

All I can say, if you invest with FNB for eB (there are ways to get past the hoops).

Learned my lesson holding onto my TFSA for 5 years. I made growth up in 18 months since I moved it.

What account are you on?

I think you're bluffing yourself. No other way to say it really.

You sound smart when you say you're focusing on these "higher-order" topics like "full immersion" and "consolidation" and "irresponsibility" and "financial goals" and "sweeping changes". Screw all that. Don't overthink it. You're overthinking it by a lot.

You don't need to change your savings and insurance and cellular and home loan and specific savings. Leave all that exactly where it is. Keep your "financial goals" exactly where they are. You think everyone else f**ks over their financial goals just to get eBucks?

Get a Fusion account+credit card. Do all the stuff in the monthly reminders list. After that come back and tell us where you're sitting in terms of reward level.

I initially wrote a reply here that went into detail. Then I deleted it as I thought it was way too much detail...
So here is the replication.

First problem is I am on Private Clients seeing that the banker feature is very, very necessary. Yes, it's not the best but I've had way, way too many issues with FNB for me not to have one. And the bankers have fixed a lot of these things. So these thresholds are high...

Digital Banking
Smart Budget: doesn't work for PC apparently -1000
FNB Connect: is something I don't have so -1500

For FNB Pay: Literally do everything using Apple Pay but it weirdly is showing that as 0/3+ currently so -2000
I guess I can query this
Transact via FNB App: I also do a lot of transactions with the app (more than the 8+ they ask) but this shows as 0/8 so -2000

Save
1500/6500
Only way to increase this is having 200k+ in a fixed deposit or 2750pm invested. Nope

Borrow
0/4000
I am not getting a securities based loan for 500k
Maybe I should but I don't think this is a good idea

Invest
0/5500
I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this...

Offshore
0/11500

Home
1500/3000
This is an interesting one because I literally have no clue how to get those extra points even though I really should be allocated these. All my bonds are with FNB and they have a lot outstanding so um...

Insurance and Family
0/5500

I could potentially get 5000 or so points with queries.
But beyond that, it means I need to do some drastic things with money which doesn't really exist.

I mean, it looks like you put a lot of time into this reply, but a part of me feels like you've gotta be trolling. Or at the very least, very very bad at understanding rules and finance.

Did you read the part where I mentioned
You don't need to change your savings and insurance and cellular and home loan and specific savings.

What I was referring to is this stuff:

Save
1500/6500
Only way to increase this is having 200k+ in a fixed deposit or 2750pm invested. Nope

Borrow
0/4000

Scratch it out, you most probably don't need it to get to L5.

Now, this stuff, you can look into:

Digital Banking
Smart Budget: doesn't work for PC apparently -1000

For FNB Pay: Literally do everything using Apple Pay but it weirdly is showing that as 0/3+ currently so -2000
I guess I can query this

Yes, query it. Find out why you aren't getting it.

But IMHO, it seems like you're so focused on pointing out the "minuses" that you can't even see the "pluses", and won't be able to understand how to get them, even if they're shown to you:

But beyond that, it means I need to do some drastic things with money which doesn't really exist.

Pro-tip, many of us are on PC, and many of us get to L5... and IMHO, most don't have "200k+ in a fixed deposit or 2750pm invested" and "securities-based loan for 500k". Can't say for 100% sure, but the other guys can chime in.

I dropped to RL4 for October (stupid smart budget checks) so got less eB when they came in the other day. The current smart spend however is still reflecting RL5, would that drop to RL4 for December? Imagine it would have to because the new RL doesn't start on the 1st of the following month.

Double check your stuff.

They ****ed up my Home Loan points by some magic in October.

Now in November it’s fixed again.

They never bothered to refund/reimburse what I lost and not a battle worth fighting.

Yeah, sadly not sure I can prove whether or not I checked the smart budgets. Going forward going to screen record that action just to be safe.

True that last sentence
On two occasions they robbed me and did nothing about it
Once was for eB15000 and another for eB9000

Hi all,
Did anyone manage to get the 30% earn on Checkers shopping for October? I believe FNB is supposed to double the earn rate between October and December but I only see 15% for October on level 5.

Edited for clarity:

Just checking... Anyone else have the issue where, during the month the calculator track my rewards says you are on track to be on level 5, and then when the payment run/level calculation happens (8th to the 12th) you actually "drop" a level?

This has happened to a few guys and me. At the end of October, track my rewards indicated that I was on track to hit L5, and then when the actual calculation is done in November, I'm on L4.

And yes, I do understand that the allocation for certain points can only be done *after* the month is over, but then those points should not be shown on track my rewards as it is misleading. There were things I could have done to hit L5 at the end of the month but decided against because track my rewards said I'm gonna hit L5 anyway.

Trying to build a case to take to Ebucks, if you have any info or reference numbers from complaints you have laid regarding this kind of thing, please PM me.

Thanks.
