So I made 3 purchases from YouTube (R6.99), Google Play store (R2.60) and PSN Store (R4.99) on the 3rd of November but none are reflecting for this month's streaming and online platform ebucks points. Any idea why?

Keep in mind that it will take at most a week to clear from purchase date and it could be that the points were updated a day before it clears so in that case it will not show at the moment until another update

The purchase was made on 3/11 and I just saw my points was updated on 16/11

That's around 12 days. Should I wait a little more?

Edit - is there a minimum amount that probably needs to be purchased?

There's no minimum. I've purchased for under R1 and still got the points lol
The rewards tracker is known to be glitchy
Theres really nothing you can do besides wait. If they dont give you points for it you can always query it with them and they will manually correct it
Also check to see if the purchase went through successfully. Sometimes if the purchase gets reversed, you will see the debit of the amount but the credit reversal will only show much later (happened to me once)

Hi guys, random non-eBucks but FNB related question. A reimbursement from FNB? First time I’ve ever seen such, or am I missing something?

Thanks, I am wondering if the spending of eBucks needs to be on a physical item to be delivered or if whether one can just buy a Takealot voucher for R400 for example. Was this banner on the Takealot website itself? I'd be interested in checking out the T&C's.

Buying a voucher would be handy.

I was forced to go this route, buying a R500 voucher in order to pay with eBucks. I have a high credit balance with TA and when filled up my cart with a monitor riser stand and vodacom airtime I tried to checkout then it doesn't even let me choose a payment method, it automatically says I owe R0.

No idea if this is a valid purchase in terms of the T&C's on the offer in question.

You should have unchecked "Use my Credit"

They even took away 40% discounted Nu Metro vouchers. We can’t even get the crap we don’t want.
Yep. An eBuck is worth just 10c. Don't pay more when trading it unless you are getting a voucher such as the ones we recently saw with CUM/La_Creuset.

Very debatable.
I have no qualms about spending my eBucks at 1:1. Yes, I can try selling them to eek out a little profit each month, but that’s just a headache. Don’t bother saving them for big purchases any more, since you’re just subject to the whims of whatever gets discounted. E.g. if you want a specific TV model, what are the odds that exact model gets discounted? You just have to settle for what you get.

I have the exact same feeling and am starting to look at it the same way.

No point holding hundreds of thousands of Ebucks but nothing to spend it on at 40% off. And even then, if you're looking for something specific, you're at the mercy of Ebucks wrt what models they load on the store (if they even load anything you want at all)

I bought a whole bunch of stuff in 2020... Then almost nothing at all in 2021. Lets see what 2022 has in store (pun intended :p)
