Tips to Boost your eBucks - 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025

For those on private clients, do you also get the option in the app to pay back spend at Spar with eBucks? I mean in the same way that you can pay back Engen spend by converting those purchases into money back to your credit card.

This is possible on premier but wondering if you lose that when you start earning on Spar spend with private clients.

I've never used the budget facility on my credit card before.

1) I assume I can put purchases on budget using my Virtual Card?

2) I assume budget purchases will attract smart spend if I use the virtual card?

They're fantastic little machines. And, on your original question, the M3 is only R2k over the limit so if the first month's payment is R2000 more it's not a train wreck.

I'm at the checkout and there is the option to pay by Credit Card, or an option to pay on FNB Budget but the options there are only for 17 or 36 months.

Did you just do the normal Credit Card payment and then they transfer it to budget on 24 months?

On PW, you can pay back Spar spend, so I assume PC also has it.

Yes. Just make sure to select the "opt in" when buying

Hmm, I did the normal CC payment using my VC but never saw any opt in option :X3:
The T&C was pretty clear that you need to opt in when buying. If I were you I'd contact my banker/secure chat ASAP to confirm that the deal has been processed correctly. I screenshotted my confirmation page just in case something goes wrong.

Screenshot not working. But I never saw any opt in and I was looking. I only ordered after reading your post about it.

So I selected top option of Credit Card, next page I filled in card details, next page was waiting for me to approve on the app? Next page was success message.

Did you use the VC or just the normal one?

VC. Took me two or three tries to get the right VC as the list just showed VC, it didn't show their name or card number.

Just to confirm, you did do the transaction via the "partner shop" under eBucks on the FNB app?

Did you order on the from the FNB app using the Partner Shop? Its one of the t&c's and i see the opt in option there.

I usually pay my City of JHB utility bill and Eskom on the clicks app, but seeing as the cap is R2500, I thought I would pay the lesser one using the FNB bills feature.

I copy the easy pay number, paste it, but the app throws an error. Anybody had issues, or am I doing something wrong?

I paid a city of Cape Town bill a couple of days ago without any issues.
I paid a portion of the bill (R1501) using the bill feature and then the rest at Clicks or Checkers.
