Tips to Boost your eBucks - 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025

Just a question, if your ad a spousal account and link it to you , does the spouse then get to the same level as you when you jump through all these loops, if so does the spouse then also have this R24000 device benefit, asking for a friend :)

Your spouse will have their own hoops to jump through to get to RL5.

The only advantages are the discounted monthly fees and lower income requirement. Otherwise it's a standalone account with all the same benefits, your spouse will still have to get to level 5 by themselves though.

I'm applying for a home loan soon for a property we're buying. Any advice / recommendations on how to maximise my FNB / eBucks relationship? There was mention at some stage of fees being waived or paid back in eBucks or something. I assume I should avoid bond originators as a starting point.

I short, apply via FNB Nav. You will get R6800 roughly back after the 2nd debit order going off.

There’s a full pdf online. Just google fnb homeloans nav

You will have to apply for a bond yourself on the FNB app to qualify for the eBucks rewards. If you work through a bond originator, you will not qualify. When I purchased a home, I used a bond originator to get quotes from all the other banks except FNB, which I applied for myself. It helps to compare the bank's different interests rates. Also, all banks offer a small reduction in interest rates if you bank with them. If possible, try for a large deposit as interest rates are very high at the moment.

If you really must, apply via a MO, but avoid that they apply via FNB for you

When will ebucks be in?
Or am I the only one with no eB for the month?

Last month it was in on the 9th... this month nothing yet... nada...zip. 😩

it's a cluster **** every year.
wish they'd pick a day each month like capitec does and stick to it.

Hi all, my wife has a credit card in her name linked to my account, this is done to maximize spend for EBucks. Is there a way to set up a virtual card on her phone ?

(She has a simple Easy FNB account in her own name. )

If you create a new virtual you should see her name as an option when you create the card. It will send her an Incontact message to proceed to create the virtual card on her profile, it will then appear on her banking app and yours

Is there no way to change the limits of a physical Credit card?
I don't use mine but I want to change the limits in case it gets lost or stolen but in the app the physical card has no option to change any limits daily or otherwise.
