Tips to Boost your eBucks - 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025

Does anyone know if it’s possible to upgrade from Premier to Private Clients to take advantage of a larger eBucks annual discount cap, and then downgrade again thereafter? What sort of complexities might have to be considered?

Lol great idea. What about having a Premier account, with a PC credit card? do they take the high product's benefit allocations?

Yes, you can pay Easypay bills at Checkers. Remember to buy a chocolate as well. Provide them with the Easypay number and they'll ask for your initials and phone number and then put it through.
You can also pay MTN contracts with easypay at Checkers

How come your MTN contract payment does not go off via debit order? Mine does from the first month. Can one stop the debit orders and make manual payment monthly?

Visit any mtn store and ask them to change payment method from debitorder to cash.

Can I please get some clarity on this "device ebucks" deal? Will the new rules from July 1st for the ebucks returns on devices count on these directly from the istore as well? so for Premier, capped at 2000eB....So works out on R770 when the ebucks are deducted, and a total of R28 490, which nullifies the interest on the device and would be a pretty nice deal. If this is valid.

Hi All

I need to start doing the 2 x "Pay Bills" transactions to obtain enough pts to stay on level 5. I'm thinking I can use my rates and taxes and dstv payments for this. I see my rates and taxes has an easypay ref nr so that's simple enough but can anyone explain how I could go about making the dstv account payment? I can't find an easypay or @Pay ref nr anywhere for them... is it just my acc nr?

Any advise on obtaining the pts for the 2 x bill payments will be greatly appreciated

If there is no Easypay or Pay@ number on the bill, you can't use the Pay Bills option. I am paying two municipal accounts but I don't know what else can be paid with this on a monthly basis. Also take note that the new rules don't require two payments, only one above R1000 (on PC for maximum points).

For anyone who (like me) seriously dilsliked the Smart Budget/Net worth widget on the accounts part of the FNB App.

You can follow the below steps on your FNB APP to remove the panel from your accounts when logging in.

Select My profile.
Settings
Nav-igate Life
Money Management Dashboard and select the toggle to turn off.

https://www.ebucks.com/web/eBucks/earn/earn-from-the-bank-2024.jsp - select correct year - 1July24-30June2025 - select the account type - go to the Terms, Conditions and Earn Rules and look for
11. Device offer

Device offer from 1 July 2024 {i would give it a few days though..... so say 15 July 2024} - device must be purchased through FNB APP - the purchase also does not currently allow istore vouchers etc - i.e. the full amount for the device will be moved to a budget facility at Prime+2% {if you qualify have enough credit etc etc} - Prime is currently at 11.75% - so 11.75%+2% = 13.5% - the ebucks back offer then only kicks in at level 3 - and you can earn eb on a maximum of R24k over 2 years {12k annual spend limit} - further to this if you are level 5 the maximum cap on premier is R500 in ebucks - so the max you can earn back over 2 years is - 120000eb if you reach all levels, meet monthly spend etc etc.....

Would paying Easypay bills (municipal accounts for me) at Checkers be the most optimal way (Ebucks wise) to pay or would there be any benefit of paying via Clicks for instance or any other method?
(Premier)

depends on amount and spend patterns etc - both earn 15% at l5 - Clicks R2k cap - Checkers R3k - {or 20% monthly spend} - clicks online easiest option for easypay bills for me personally.

Hi. Does anyone have Wimpy vouchers to give away? These expire in 2 days time. Driving past a Wimpy tomorrow with the family, so would greatly appreciate it. Thank you
