Most are missing the point of the device in my opinion. It stands in as a quick, small tool.

Most points are valid IMO, :) EE's are a difficult bunch ;) I am not sure it is his target market, but then he did post there ....

For the rank amateur it may well sell, but the jury is still out until campaign end. It appears a little bleak I have to say, but I may well be proven wrong. Good luck to him anyway.

Almost any piece of equipment has limitations. You'll see the same bunch whining about various oscilloscope models because they don't do everything under the sun for $200. They might as well bitch about their multimeter not having satellite tracking features. Hence why I tend to ignore the complaining on that forum.
