I see more and more people on this forum starting to recognise the rat race is unnatural.

As a concluding point and I hate to say this, but the entire system is a scam, an understanding of this is essential if you want to avoid the traps of falling back into it with your own activities.

A scam? Unnatural? In the past, people had to labour hard to put food on the table and to provide protection and shelter. What we are doing is no different - just more specialised. I work a standard 9 to 5. Often less. Sometimes more. But my earnings are enough to put a roof over my head and food on the table. Not everyone will be able to survive on passive income. Who would do all the work?

Think you need to come back down to reality. To make a passive income, capital is required, which 99% of people do not have a few hundred thousand lying around.

I at no point said labour is wrong, but your labour is being stolen from you- if you have no problem with that then suit yourself, but the OP clearly does have a problem with it

My labour is not being stolen. I am a slave to the banking system however. There is a difference.

Edit: nm - at a leap, you could say my labour was being stolen by interest and taxes.

in your mind its a leap, but if you consider that the governance system is illegitimate, in the fact that politicians are unaccountable to the electorate, then yeah its being stolen.
