What is a structure? An entire building? How is there being multiple buildings racism if they don't separate what building you go to based on race?
Tito's should have a case of defamation opened against him for that remark.
Read post #9. When the hospital was designed, buildings were used for segregation and that's a fact.

Why did the ANC wait 26 years to address it? Will all other state buildings that were once segregated also be demolished? Or is just ignoring state infrastructure until it crumbles the intentional ANC plan?

So, Tito said two things (from this link): https://www.timeslive.co.za/news/so...s-causes-rift-between-mboweni-and-health-mec/

1.) it still has a black and white section
2.) There is a section where blacks used to go and there is a section where whites used to go

The second point is correct, as you have said. The first point is incorrect, because it is in the present tense. So we can dig into the technicalities here, but he said two things that are inconsistent with each other, and if we like him we can look at the correct statement, and if we dislike him we can look at the incorrect statement.

To me, I wonder why he brought it up at all, because it has little to do with the functioning of the hospital today, and even if the hospital does need to be replaced, it's not because of how the buildings were historically divided.

Q1: The ANC as a whole didn't and I'm still puzzled as to why Tito did.
Q2: No, and neither will Tygerberg hospital be rebuilt anytime soon.
Q3: Never ascribe to intent (or malice) that can be explained by stupidity and the ANC has proven over and over that they are the masters of the idiotic.

Having read his reply, I think that what he was trying to say is that there are two structures that were previously used for segregation purposes. English isn't his first language, nor is it mine.

I wonder, if the reason he brought it up, was because he was told that it is currently impacting the functioning of the hospital; that's just pure speculation on my part. Tito doesn't strike me as a person who'll just say something without having facts to back him up.

The whole of SA is constructed on a lie ,

Section 9(3) of the Constitution prohibits “unfair discrimination” against anyone on one or more grounds, including on the ground of “race”. But we have an EEA which is discriminatory and pledge support based on skin colour.

Screw Tito and his racist mates.

Should we knock down the castle in Cape Town because at one point only colonials were allowed in?

The argument is terrible, Tygerberg hasn't segregated in deacdes and there was no justification in order to bring something like that up. Could have said nothing at all and it would have been fine, there was no point to be made.
