Sooooo just to kick the hornets nest a bit, I'll leave this here ... currently I have a princely prepaid balance in my Sanral account, which pays for my eTolls and tollbooth gantries in all kinds of places. It's even started paying for some connected parking garages (I was puzzled by a Netcare hospital's parking boom opening recently as I pulled up for a ticket, until I saw the notification in the Sanral app):

I think so many eToll protesters would be pretty impressed by how slick the whole eToll app and payment process has become in recent years. But it's ok, sit in the long tollgate queues while I go past in the eToll rapid payment lanes, suits me fine :D

Hey Tito, china, dude..

We may pay for bread but Soweto don't pay for electricity, so your analogy don't hold brother. Nice try anyway.

Maybe you wanna try spin us one again, but this time work in that ANC corruption to make your fable more life-like mkay..

You don't even have to tweet to be a twit..

Those gantries on the freeways are also rapid payment lanes. Rapid payment lanes for you and just rapid for the rest.

If old Tito can overrule his own party and is warning of more taxation coming next year, for how long is he going to allow people to keep flaunting eTolls? Government has countless ways to enforce it and collect on unpaid debts ... when the other shoe falls, it’s going to be better to have my balance than one in the negative tens of thousands, trust me.

Yeah dunno dude, not sure I ever want to be on any team with somebody as warm-hearted and full of humanity such as yourself. Good luck living with that much toxicity in your tiny black heart, though.

Rabobi has an ignore list longer than sanral's list of unpaid etolls

This oke really puts the 'tit' in Tito.

User-pays principle doesn't apply in South Africa, numpty. Everyone knows that.

janee, ffs, who the hell buys a bread for home and then proceeds to pay extra every time they remove a slice from the packaging at home?!?
Yeah, I bought a loaf in 1998. All subsequent loaves should be free ... nope logic doesn’t work. Or maybe you think because you buy a brown loaf, then you deserve to get a white loaf for free, because you’re already paying for bread right?

No you get the loaf you bought, until you need a new one, have any new roads been built exclusively with etoll funds?

If not then fahk-off, it is built with tax funding, which again means tax payers have already paid for it.

Guavamint cannot even get their own brethren in Soweto to pay, the only thing they can enforce is their own looting & stealing.
