Morning all,

I was thinking how it would be if I was a father one-day and how I'd deal with the helplessness if my child were to get hurt or something to that regard.
I stumbled upon this thought when I had to take my sisters dog to the vet.

Haven't slept in a couple of days so will update this OP when I've gotten some Zzz's or some coffee in the very least.

Please don't have children, do you know how fast the population is growing? We are far beyond a sustainable level, and it's increasing exponentially.

Do the responsible thing.

You're absolutely right that you feel helpless, but you just have to hold it together and not fall apart. Your child needs you to be strong and you can't give any indication of how helpless you feel. It's really hard, but we were able to do it when my son broke his arm.

I, Chairman Knyro, hereby order Pho3nix and Pooky to procreate (not with each other! Perverts!).

The intelligent and nerdy genes need to propogate. We need a bigger supply of nerdy girls to stymie the epidemic of foreveraloners!

'Tis the idiocracy!

Kids get hurt, rather frequently as it happens. Best advice I can offer is to learn First Aid and even better CPR so you know what to do in the event of an emergency.

A cruel thing to do.

I dreamed that I had a daughter once and was raising her by myself. It was definitely one of the scariest dreams I've ever had because my life was in shambles in the dream and I wasn't ready for that kind of responsibility.

need to find a woman first :)

ZING!!!!!

LOL sometimes I think about what it would be like to be a parent then a voice in my head says:

"B1tch please, you're in the LHC!" :D

Done and dusted but it's things like terminal illnesses and deafness/blindness that scare the poop out of me when I think of having a kid. To parents I honestly do salute you.

Unless you're genetically predisposed to such things then I wouldn't worry about it. Cross any bridges when you get to them.

:erm: That dream has little to do with you wanting to procreate. That was your feminine side begging to come out of the closet.
