Having is kids is lots of joy but can be little fun sometimes, it's hard work if you want to partake in everything your child does and not be a parent who just takes a backseat.

I always try and find time for my 2yr old, often you feel exhausted or have a bad day at work but once I see him that all goes away.

When they get hurt a piece of you breaks away no doubt but that's life and can often make them stronger.

Worse helplessness I have felt was when my daughter managed to get a handful of coins and then promptly stuck them in her mouth and started choking.

Turned her upside down (holding her feet in one hand) and smacked her back with the other.
She looked like a slot machine paying out but it did the trick.

Never felt so cold before in my life.
