It may not have been a great attraction for South Africa’s non-Bulls fans who (like me) initially turned up merely to watch the awesome seven times Super Rugby champions, the Crusaders. But few would have left Loftus Versveld unable to pay the men in blue the respect they’d earned throughout the day.

Many South Africans think shouting for the Bulls is a bit like kissing your mother-in-law (and I’m one of them). However, I’m told you have to give credit where credit is due.

To see the Crusaders so out of their league was special. Scarce. Verging on slander to murmur. For the rugby connisseur, it’s not a question of who won rather than it’s implications.

As a Western Province Stormers fan, I draw the line just this side of muttering a slogan of avid Bulls fans who’d tell you: ‘our blood is blue’.

Blue and white stripes suit me just fine. But well done to the Blue Bulls. It’s only a game!

Ag you know, with super 14, I feel you can support whom ever you want, to me, super14 is more in the lines of a type of provinsial team and not national, so if someone does not want to support the bulls because they like a NZ team, thats fine.

But just remember...THE BULLS WON YOU LUSERS!!!!!!!!!!

I will always respect them, just as I do every South African S14 team (except the Breezers maybe, lol) but I don't have to support them ;)

its a difficult thing to do supporting the bulls but you have got to give to them, they play a good game, any true supporter of the game should nod their head in approval of what they saw last saturday, it was good, hard, fast professional rugby! ....and this is coming from a sharks fan

I am just supporting them because its a South African team in the finals

Well done :) Soon as the finals are won or lost by them you can go back to hating them :D

/me pees on the bulls, win or lose

You have no opinion in the sport section because you are a lady-boy. Just don't get frost bite at home under your blankets while watching the bold and the beautifull

Agreed. There is something very deep in my genes which will not allow me to support that team.

Must be long history of soccer supporting in your genes :p

Never said you have to become a BB for life, just for the finals....

Ok guys. I'm a big Stormers fan and I really don't like the Bulls, but after watching this weekends game I must say they really made me envious. So come Saturday I will support the Bulls. JUST this once. !!!

We are only asking for this once :D And thx!

If the stormers were there against a NZ or Aus team I would support them whole heartedly even though my tongue might turn black :p

A good mate of mine is a big Bulls supporter and we're watching together on Saturday. I've borrowed a Bulls jersey to show solidarity  But only this one time. :)

Most of my chinas are Lions or Sharks or whoever plays against the Bulls. I got one friend who is a Cheetahs boy - he is from Bloem - and even he has that attitude. Though this weekend, I think he will support us. Me and my one mate are the only two Bulls fans in our entire circle of friends. On Saturday, we going to the game at Loftus with another oke who is a Sharkie but has agreed to join the winning supporters just this once so kudos to him. He's also driving us cos we gonna get hammered....
