So I've been following the entire Rain 5G thing, with the fear of my Telkom ADSL being disconnected any time now lurking in the background. 2 of my friends in very close proximity have already got their Telkom LTE devices and copper disconnected.
Now that the router is free if you order today, I'm very tempted to just jump the bandwagon and go for it, and try my best to get my Telkom cancelled myself ASAP. Even though I am on the coverage map, I'm right on the edge of it so I'm not guaranteed anything until I get the physical device here at my house. Lots of trees in the area.
What is Rain's cancellation policy if things don't work as intended? I have logged a ticket regarding this a couple of days ago already with no response from them. It's also a bit worrying the reports I have been seeing from 5G users the last couple of days here on the forum, with severely fluctuating speeds. Teething issues, or a sign of things to come?
