a pack a day. Used to smoke normal 20's pack a day but I switched to a smaller pack of blue evolves. They are actually 10 full come to think of it, half a ciggie packed as 20. So technically I smoke a 20 every 48 hrs. I easily go a full 24hrs with that small pack

Yes it starts at 5 a day then 10, 20 and as you get older you smoke more and more.
I ended at 40-50 a day.
Luckily is stopped 2 years ago and started vaping. Now I don't have a constant cough anymore.

I used to smoke the Evolve as well. For some reason I went back to Stuyvesant Blue full sized

Depends what you buy. Just bought the extended free Pall Mall's for R34 at a Spar. More expensive goes above R50 easily.

COPD is not funny to live with, but no one will listen to me when I say stop smoking immediately. An oxygen concentrator helps only partially and is dependent on stable and reliable power which we don't have with Eskom around, so a standby inverter and batteries are also needed.

Hard to stop smoking, You can stop drinking wine and whisky cause of health related problems

Really weird how when you see a lekka stukkie vleisie in another car then notice the cigarette and all of a sudden she's not so lekka anymore

I switch between pall mall and Chesterfield, I do prefer the Chesterfield though as its much more premium and smooth but mostly because of the hard filter

I hear you, with the respiratory suffering I had after covid I made a decision to take a leaf out of Kurt Cobain's book if ever I get lung cancer.

Out of interest, what does a pack cost now?

About R38 to R40 on average.

About 3 months before lockown year i changed to rolling my own , Golden Virginia , packet R80 , pack of Rizla R4 (50 papers) and filter Rizla Ultra Slim (5.7mm) R18 for 120.
Packet of tobacco can last a week to 10 days sometimes longer.
Saved me money, reduced my intake from 20-30 per day to 10-15 , as the tobacco doesnt burn out if you put it down to rest in the ashtray, plus way less chemicals and SO says smell doesnt linger nor as pungent as with ciggies.
Takes time to roll , i like to roll them thin as well and personaly find one savours them more.
Went for dinner tp a friend the other night and was offered a Camel, god, it was awefull, and gave me a headache.
