An 18-month-old Indiana girl who fell to her death from the 11th storey of a cruise ship in Puerto Rico plunged from a window inexplicably left open in a children’s play area, the family’s attorney has claimed.
Police in Puerto Rico had said on Monday that Chloe Wiegand apparently slipped from her grandfather’s hands on Sunday while he was holding her out of an 11th-floor window on the Freedom of the Seas.

What a dumb ****. Did he think the kid was gonna enjoy being held out a window at some insane height?

“Chloe wanted to bang on the glass like she always did at her older brother’s hockey games. Her grandfather thought there was glass just like everywhere else, but there was not, and she was gone in an instant,” Winkleman said.

Ice hockey glass isn't the same as normal window glass. What if she glass shattered and she cut herself. Would they still sue?

How can you not see there is no glass there, secondly if you assume there is glass surely you can see limbs portruding past the frame, thirdly even if there was glass why would you let your grip go on a child, if there was glass it would have fell on the floor.

Ever seen an american car? big yellow warning labels & annoying alarms for doors, seatbelts etc etc etc

Proof Michael Jackson never died.

That is such a Michael move while holding a baby. o_o

On a more serious note. This family is trying to turn culpable homicide into some much lesser accidental death case to save the granddad from prison time so they are making up stories and hanging onto the most ridiculous points.

Uhm. Go read the article....
it is in the article

he was holding her out of an 11th-floor window
she never slipped from the window - he was dangling her out of the window.
in fact she did nothing
he picked her up, he held her out of the window, then he dropped her

did the glass "slip out of your hands", or did you drop it ?
the glass did nothing, you failed to hold it properly

I don't know what you drink out of, but a Glass can't move, neither does it have arms or legs.
