I have read some local web articles recently stating that Tomtom's navigation systems and software is available in SA and is even available with Afrikaans voice navigation ("Na 3 honderd meters turn regs and you can like to have reached your destinasie") lol.
Upon checking tonight I realised that their website does not even have a South African (or Africa for that matter) link and shows no option to buy the software in SA. They also claim (on the international site) that mobile phone navigation is available - but have no info on which phones are supported.
Anyone know if this is a myth or is it really available locally (even just in English) and will it work on my Nokia N95? (the online zashop only sells two of their devices with no further info).
Anyone know if Tomtom is actually doing business in SA?
