Check if it's the old one without the collapsible ezport mount. They seem to trundle out old stock for the sales. It is not a bargain at all.

The Garmin POI and speed camera updates are free (garmap.co.za) with no need for a renewable subscription, unlike TomTom.

I agree...just a pity that my Garmin manages to find the weirdest roads out when I'm out in the bush!!:erm:

That's why I got Tomtom.
Few people I know have that issue, also on tarred roads.

I thought that they all worked off the same maps in SA, so surely if my Garmin manages to find the one road in SA that hasn't been driven on by a car in 24 years, the TomTom will do the same??:confused:

Garmin's maps are allegedy better.
The route planning doesn't seem to be.
