Toshiba Regza 42 inch FULL HD TV

HiFi Corp has the Toshiba Regza, 42 inch 100Mhz, 1920by1080 LCD TV for R12,999.00. It's not a bad deal, except I don't trust HiFi Corp so much.

Possibly. I don't think Toshiba sells LCD in SA. Sharp doesn't either.

BUUUT

Some high end AV shops in SA do sell Sharp and Toshiba LCD TVs. I think the Toshiba was the first FULL HD LCD available in SA - at R45K.

I would rather go for Toshiba and Sharp, they're both companies with an excellent brand name and tons of R&D cash then HiSense, Wharfardale, Sansui etc.
